On the November 25, RHT Education attended the Nanjing Branch of the European Chamber of Commerce’ 3rd Corporate Social Responsibility Award event, hosted by Board Chair Mr. Bernhard Weber. Keynote speakers included: Mr. Joakim Diamant, Business Development Director, Scania China Strategic Centre who spoke on “Values and CSR”. There were two Panel sessions. Panel 1: from CSR to shared value creation along the value chain; Panel 2: CSR, responsible innovation and impact leadership. In these panels, the attenders deeply discussed topics such as; what are potential win/win relations across value and supply chains; how can aspirational brands create shared value, and; how to develop sustainable trust. RHT took particular interest in the talks focusing on “from the corporation to the classroom” which featured “strategies for developing CSR as an outlook for college students; how to create an innovative inclusive social enterprise; how to integrate CSR and innovation into company strategies to maximize social, economic and environmental impact”, among others.

During the event, Rob Cochrane talked to many different companies and organizations. They all expressed an interest to collaborate with RHT, made appointments and discussed the relevance of connecting industry and education for the betterment of student outcomes.
